Zaključen študij druge stopnje ustrezne (naravoslovne ali tehniške) smeri ali zaključen študij druge stopnje na drugih področjih z dokazanim poznavanjem osnov področja predmeta (pisna dokazila, pogovor).

Completed second-cycle studies in natural sciences or engineering, or completed second-cycle studies in other fields with proven knowledge of the fundamentals of the subject area (certificates, interview).

Predmet je zasnovan interdisciplinarno in je namenjen študentom vseh študijskih smeri, saj spodbuja sodelovanje, povezovanje znanj ter razumevanje različnih raziskovalnih in tehnoloških področij. Poučevanje bo potekalo predvsem v obliki delavnic, timskega dela in učenja na primerih iz prakse, kjer bodo študenti razvijali lastne ideje ter predloge za inovacije z realnim tržnim potencialom. Teme predmeta vključujejo:
• Načela ustvarjanja idej in kreativnega reševanja problemov
• Znanost o sodelovanju: sestava in vodenje uspešnih timov
• Metode ocenjevanja tržnega in tehnološkega potenciala ter razvoj idej v izvedljive produkte ali storitve
• Prenos znanja in prototipiranje tehnologij
• Razvijanje strategij za analizo trga, zaščito intelektualne lastnine in prenos tehnologij
• Ustvarjanje komercializacijskega načrta za inovativne projekte
• Poslovni model za znanstvene inovacije
• Priprava učinkovite predstavitve (pitch) za specifično občinstvo

The course is designed in an interdisciplinary manner and is intended for students of all study programmes, as it encourages collaboration, integration of knowledge, and understanding of diverse research and technological fields. Teaching will primarily take place through workshops, teamwork, and case-based learning, where students develop their own ideas and proposals for innovations with real market potential. Topics covered include:
• Principles of idea creation and creative problem-solving
• The science of teamwork: building and leading successful teams
• Methods to evaluate market and technological potential, and to develop ideas into feasible products or services
• Knowledge transfer and technology prototyping
• Developing strategies for market analysis, intellectual property protection, and technology transfer
• Creating commercialization roadmaps for innovative projects
• Business models for scientific innovation
• Preparing effective pitches for specific audiences

• Opremiti študente s teoretičnim in praktičnim razumevanjem celotnega procesa inovacij — od ustvarjanja idej do komercializacije
• Spodbujati sposobnost sestave, vodenja in dela v interdisciplinarnih timih ter jih pripraviti za učinkovito upravljanje in sodelovanje pri inovativnih projektih
• Omogočiti študentom, da ocenijo potrebe trga, analizirajo priložnosti in ustvarijo strategije za komercializacijo inovativnih tehnologij in rešitev
• Oblikovanje trajnostnih poslovnih modelov za znanstvene inovacije, vključno z upravljanjem intelektualne lastnine in prenosom tehnologij
• Razviti sposobnosti in znanje za jasno in prepričljivo predstavitev lastnih idej, rešitev in strategij komercializacije različnim deležnikom

• Equip students with the theoretical and practical understanding of the entire innovation process — from ideation through to commercialization
• Foster the ability to build, lead, and work in interdisciplinary teams, preparing students to manage and collaborate effectively on innovative projects
• Enable students to evaluate market needs, analyse opportunities, and create strategies for the commercialization of innovative technologies and solutions
• Develop sustainable business models for scientific innovations, including intellectual property management and technology transfer
• Develop the ability and knowledge to clearly and persuasively present ideas, solutions, and commercialization strategies to different stakeholders
