Goals:

Postgraduate studies at the Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School should provide experts with skills enabling them– on the basis of their mastery of individual areas of expertise (introduction and development of intensive technologies) – to solve problems by way of, inter alia, interdisciplinary approaches, by integrating narrow expert skills and knowledge with economic, social, cultural as well as legal aspects involved in the consideration of key developmental issues.

Content:

The attendants of the postgraduate school should acquire, depending on the contents of individual flexible programmes, in-depth expert knowledge and skills particularly from the following fields of law:
Company law (organization of economic operators, their governance and integration, particularly with international corporations).
Law of commercial legal transactions (conclusion of contracts, their implementation and revisions, particular commercial legal transactions).
Intellectual property law (copyright law, industrial property law – inventions and technical improvements, patents, industrial designs and utility models, trademarks, indications of source or appellations of origin, unfair competition).
Resolution of commercial disputes with special regard to international procedural law:
o international private and procedural law;
o resolution of commercial disputes;
o alternative resolution of commercial disputes;
o resolution of commercial disputes by arbitration
