Students become acquainted with the latest advancements in the field of environmental physics, and prepare themselves for research work in this field.


Characteristic components of environmental physics: economic system; greenhouse; energy transport; social and political circumstances, environmental protection
Elementary spectroscopy: Solar spectrum; light-matter coupling, biomolecules, ozone and UV light
Global climate: greenhouse model; weather and climate; modelling of climatic changes
Transport of pollutants: Diffusion; river flow, underwater flow; equations of fluid dynamics
Noise: Acoustics; human detection and criteria of noise; noise transmission reduction; active noise
Radioactivity: environmental impact, impact on man
