PUŠ in the workplace 2024-2027 - 2nd opening 2025/2026

The Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Innovation has launched the second call for proposals under the "Problem-Based Learning for Students in the Workplace 2024-2027 (PUŠ)" programme, aimed at promoting student participation in projects that provide practical experience and competences to facilitate the transition to the labour market.

For the second opening, to be implemented in the academic year 2025/2026, €6.14 million is available. The deadline for applications is 15 September 2025 at 10:00.

Higher education institutions can obtain funding for projects in which students, under the guidance of a teaching and working mentor, will solve concrete challenges from the working environment (economy, non-economy, non-profit sector), focusing on the priority areas of the Slovenian Smart Specialisation Strategy (S5).

IPS plans to participate in the call for proposals with two project applications.

IPS will prepare a project application for:

  • one project from the Block A (economy) and
  • one project from Block B (non-economy).

All students interested in being involved in the activities of these projects are invited to communicate their interest as soon as possible to the following e-mail address: info@mps.si.

Conditions for student participation:

  • students must be under 29 years old,
  • a student can only participate in one project from block A and one from block B per academic year,

A student is not eligible for funding if:

  • employed,
  • registered as a jobseeker at the Employment Service of the Republic of Slovenia,
  • registered as unemployed at the Employment Service of the Republic of Slovenia.

Students who are on an Erasmus exchange at the time of the activity may also participate in the projects.

The themes of the projects will be announced at a later stage. You can also let us know your project idea.
