IPS Workshop – Using Artificial Intelligence Tools in the Teaching Process

On Monday, 17 November 2025, from 13:00 to 16:00, the 1st MPŠ training for higher education teachers will take place: Workshop – Using Artificial Intelligence Tools in the Teaching Process, organized by the Centre for ICT Use in Education, University of Ljubljana. The training will be held in person at the MPŠ lecture hall.

The workshop is intended for HE teachers who wish to learn about current approaches and tools of generative artificial intelligence and explore meaningful ways to integrate them into teaching and learning. Participants will:

  • learn about the capabilities of current generative AI tools,
  • understand the differences between large language models and their suitability for educational use,
  • gain practical examples of AI applications for content creation, personalized learning, and assessment,
  • practice creating effective “prompts” for educational purposes,
  • discuss ethical aspects and the importance of maintaining critical thinking when using AI.

The workshop is designed as an interactive session, combining presentations, live demonstrations, practical exercises, and discussions on opportunities and challenges of using artificial intelligence in education.


Due to the high level of interest, all available places for the workshop are already filled. The date for a repeat session on the same topic will be announced later, depending on the level of expressed interest.
