17TH IPS STUDENT CONFERENCE (IPSSC) SUCCESSFULLY CONCLUDED

17th IPS Student Conference (IPSSC) Successfully Concluded

Between May 28 and 30, 2025, the 17th Student Conference of the Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School, IPSSC, took place in the beautiful setting of the Mekinje Monastery in Kamnik, under the theme "From Research to Reality!"

IPS students had the opportunity to present their research work to a broader audience. The event was further enriched by inspiring speakers from various scientific and professional fields, as well as a vibrant social program. Once again, the conference highlighted the importance of connecting science, innovation, and creativity.

Out of all the presented contributions, the expert committee selected six outstanding contributions that received special recognition:

• Best ST Contribution: Janina Roknić
  
• Best ICT Contribution: Peter Nimac
  
• Best NANO Contribution: Jošt Oblak
  
• Best Poster: Tomaž Mržljak
