The Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School (MPS), supported by the ERA Chair AutoLearn-SI, invites students, researchers, and professionals to participate in a Brave Conversations event on May 6th, 2026 (09:00–12:00) at the Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School (IPS Lecture Room).

The event will be organized together with Oshani Seneviratne, Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, where she leads the BRAINS (Bridging Resilient, Accountable, Intelligent Networked Systems) Lab. Her research focuses on decentralized intelligent systems, including Web technologies, blockchain, decentralized AI, knowledge graphs, and health informatics. She obtained her S.M. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology under the supervision of Tim Berners-Lee (the inventor of the World Wide Web).

The session is interactive and discussion-based, typically involving around 30–50 participants, allowing for meaningful dialogue in small groups.
