Erasmus+ Staff Training at the DELTA Synchrotron

Thanks to the Erasmus+ Staff Training programme, I had the opportunity to work at the DELTA Synchrotron (TU Dortmund) together with Prof. Dirk Lützenkirchen-Hecht (University of Wuppertal).
During the visit, I was able to monitor in-situ XANES/EXAFS studies of zirconium-based conversion coatings, including grazing-incidence measurements and time-resolved monitoring of coating nucleation and growth—gaining valuable real-time insight into coating formation.
An inspiring experience that strengthened international collaboration, advanced our research, and enabled direct knowledge transfer in synchrotron science. Many thanks for the warm hospitality and outstanding support!
