SUCCESS OF IPS STUDENTS AT IEEE ISAF 2025

Success of IPS students at IEEE ISAF 2025

Students of the Jožef Stefan International Postgraduate School (IPS), Ivana Goričan, Žiga Bertalanič, and Victor Regis successfully participated in the international scientific conference 2025 IEEE International Symposium on Applications of Ferroelectrics (IEEE ISAF-ICE-ISIF-PFM 2025), held in Graz, Austria.

All three students received the IEEE ISAF 2025 Student Travel Grant Award, which is awarded by the conference organizing committee for promising scientific contributions by young researchers.

In addition, they achieved the following individual successes:

• Victor Regis was the winner of the Student Pitch Competition.
  
• Ivana Goričan won 3rd place in the Student Pitch Competition.
  
• Žiga Bertalanič was the runner-up in the Student Poster Competition with his poster titled “Fabrication of Solid Oxide Fuel Cell”.
  

Participation in this prestigious conference enabled the students to present their research to the wider international scientific community and to establish valuable connections in the field of ferroelectrics and advanced materials.
