Short summary:
In this, dissertation bioinspired nanocarriers for efficient siRNA delivery were developed, addressing challenges in pharmacokinetics, immune evasion, and targeting. Erythrocyte membrane vesicles and genipin-crosslinked nanoparticles were engineered, alone and combined, for stealth, fluorescence, and tumor-specific delivery. The systems achieved effective gene knockdown with low toxicity, advancing non-viral gene therapy. Integrating nanotechnology, pharmacology, and materials science, this work presents a multifunctional platform for precise, biocompatible RNA-based treatments and outlines future prospects for clinical translation.
