IPS invites you to the Defence of the Doctoral Dissertation by Katarina Žiberna titled: Local mechanical properties of perovskite oxide ferroelectric materials. The defence will take place on Friday, 26 September 2025, at 9:30 a.m. at the IPS Lecture Room, Jamova 39, 1000 Ljubljana.

Short summary:

We investigated the elastic and plastic properties of perovskite oxide ferroelectrics and analyzed structural changes induced by mechanical loading down to the atomic scale. Mechanical properties, assessed using in-situ nanoindentation and advanced atomic force microscopy, were complemented by electron microscopy.
