IPS invites you to the Defence of the Doctoral Dissertation by Lea Gašparič titled: Computational insights into catalytic hydrogen formation: dry reforming of methane and hydrogen evolution reaction. The defence will take place on Thursday, 5 February 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the IPS Lecture Room (N205-N206, Jamova c. 39, 1000 Ljubljana).

Short summary:

In this doctoral thesis, we focused on the relationship between the structure of catalysts and their activity. Using molecular modeling, we investigated metal catalysts that are important for hydrogen production and examined the effects of morphology, crystal phase, and support on their activity.
