Supervisor: Prof. Dr. Igor Serša.
Short summary:
Lithium-metal batteries can store more energy than others, but their performance is limited by the growth of needle-like “dendrites.” Using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), we tracked their growth in special cells and developed simple computer models to predict it. Combining both approaches offers a new insight into the phenomenon.
