In the Master Thesis, analytical procedure for the determination of hexavalent chromium (Cr(VI)) in mineral materials applying ultrasound-assisted alkaline extraction was optimised and validated, using enriched isotopic tracers of 50Cr(VI) and 53Cr(III) for Cr speciation by high performance liquid chromatography – inductively coupled plasma mass spectrometry.
