2. What data we collect

On www.mps.si we use cookies for the following purposes:

  • Analytics: anonymised tracking of site usage (visitor counts, pages viewed, traffic sources, device type) via Google Analytics 4.
  • Marketing: cookies for ad personalisation and measuring the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, via Google Ads.

Cookies we set when consent is granted:

  • _ga (Google Analytics) - distinguishes unique users, 2 years.
  • _ga_KZT6EWZ7JC (Google Analytics 4) - persists session state, 2 years.
  • _gcl_au (Google Ads) - stores conversion attribution information, 90 days.
  • IDE (Google Ads, set on doubleclick.net) - ad measurement and personalisation, up to 13 months.

We also store your cookie choice in the browser using localStorage (key mps-cookie-consent). This is strictly necessary and is used without consent.

We do not set the analytics or marketing cookies above without your consent. Strictly necessary cookies, required for the website to function, are used without consent.

3. Legal basis

Processing of personal data is based on your consent under Article 6(1)(a) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). You may withdraw your consent at any time.

4. Recipients

Data collected via the Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads cookies is processed by Google LLC (Google Ireland Limited for EU users) as our data processor. Some Google Ads cookies are set on the third-party domain doubleclick.net. Data may be transferred to the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Standard Contractual Clauses.

5. Retention period

Event and user data collected in Google Analytics is retained for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted.

Cookies set in your browser have their own lifetimes (see the list in section 2 above).

6. Your rights

Under GDPR you have the following rights:

  • Right of access to your personal data
  • Right to rectification of inaccurate data
  • Right to erasure (the "right to be forgotten")
  • Right to restriction of processing
  • Right to data portability
  • Right to object to processing
  • Right to withdraw consent, without affecting the lawfulness of processing prior to withdrawal

7. Right to lodge a complaint

If you believe processing of your personal data infringes GDPR, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia, Dunajska cesta 22, 1000 Ljubljana, www.ip-rs.si.

You can change your cookie preferences at any time by clicking the "Cookie settings" link in the website footer.
