This doctoral dissertation addresses the critical need for strengthening food authenticity and traceability by introducing a novel, integrated framework comprising three complementary systems: a Physical Traceability System that relies on advanced analytical techniques and database-driven authentication; a Rapid Traceability System, enabling fast and reliable spectroscopic screening for fraud detection; and a Digital Traceability System, which employs cutting-edge Internet of Things (IoT) technologies to provide real-time, continuous monitoring across the entire supply chain.
