Short summary:

This doctoral research investigated novel compounds targeting coronaviruses. Using computational methods and laboratory experiments, promising synthetic compounds were identified, and the antiviral potential of immortelle (Helichrysum italicum) was demonstrated, supporting future antiviral drug development.
