IPS invites you to the Defence of the Doctoral Dissertation by Tjaša Kunavar titled: Interplay of sensorimotor learning and reward learning in human motor control. The defence will take place on Friday, 18 September 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at the IPS Lecture Room (N205-N206, Jamova c. 39, 1000 Ljubljana).

Short summary:

The doctoral dissertation investigates how humans adapt movement to changing conditions and how sensorimotor and reward learning contribute to this process. The results show that these mechanisms complement each other, enabling fast, efficient and safe adaptation in changing environments.
