IPS invites you to the Defence of the Master Thesis by Luka Dolar titled: Assessment of treatment processes for pharmaceutical wastewater generated during the synthesis of active pharmaceutical ingredient. The defence will take place on Thursday, 14 May 2026, at 9:00 a.m. at the E-Salon of the Energy Efficiency Centre (Reactor Centre, Jožef Stefan Institute).

Short summary:

This master’s thesis evaluates on-site treatment of pharmaceutical wastewater from an active pharmaceutical compound production, demonstrating that targeted pretreatment can replace incineration, ensure regulatory compliance, and reduce costs and environmental impacts.
